Lowdown are a three piece band from Grimsby featuring Callum Procter (lead guitar, vocals), George Denis (bass) and Kieran Hand (drums). Formed in July 09 they have performed many gigs around the north east of England, released a live demo, the single "This Is A New Look", and a new EP featuring the songs "Let it Fade", "I Feel On A High" and "Don't Believe In Lies".

Featuring a wide selection of work covering many styles from the artists 80 years, the exhibition has been a great hit with visitors. The Meniscus Film Festival takes place once a year at the Whitgift Cinema in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. The festival encourages film makers to make a film under 5 minutes in duration based upon a creative title. The winner of the competition receives an award and a cash prize. This year's title is 'The .... Crisis'.
